Welcome to the world of Vimoh!
This is Sneha & ‘Vimoh-House of Arts’ is my brainchild.
I am a fashion designing professional and hand painting is my specialty.
After working for a few years in the fashion industry, I decided to follow my passion for hand painting and a keen eye for aesthetics and details to create unique yet affordable pieces. In the era of machines replacing humans, I wanted to dedicate my brand to hand painted and handcrafted articles. Human touch is an integral part of our products right from the conception, giving them perfect imperfections.
Our brand caters to women of all ages with variety of products which are unique yet easy to carry. It was my dream from a young age to design for common people like me who cannot really afford bespoke, high end clothing and accessories but have keen interest in beautifully customized hatke designs. At ‘Vimoh’, my amazing team and I strive to make creative use of the smallest of pieces into something beautiful and meaningful.
Trying to make a difference
‘Vimoh’ was founded during the pandemic
It was indeed a tough task to sustain my small business throughout the pandemic but thoughtful planning of my resources, perseverance, my belief in my ideology and moral support from my loving family got me through it and managed to keep it thriving.
Sustainable fashion and products
Our products range from sarees, dress materials, home décor to hand crafted bags and jewelry. We always prefer pure fabrics over synthetic ones. We also collect cut pieces or leftover fabric pieces from different textile stores to create some of our beautiful products which otherwise would have been labeled as waste. One of our beloved product ranges is made out of hand painted coconut shell artifacts.
Sourcing locally
We always prioritized sourcing directly from the artisans & try to choose local vendors and karigars over well established manufacturers.
Our team
Team Vimoh consists of home makers, school peons, domestic helpers who are very skilled yet never looked at stitching, hand painting, handcrafting etc. professionally. Today I can proudly say that even during the pandemic we managed to provide them with consistent work and do our bit in supporting them and their family. We are a home grown brand with a small but great team!
Reviving heritage
Hand painting is one of the oldest art forms and we try to execute it with a contemporary touch. Hand painted traditional ornaments, dot rangoli on cushion covers and Warli painting on coconut shell artifacts are one of the highlights of Vimoh product range.
Sustainable packaging
We opt for fabric bags made out of old sarees and newspaper bags to use as packaging and try to avoid plastic wherever possible.
